Cooking for ** Logo Designs

So just for fun I am throwing a few logos out there for a blog favorite of mine Cooking for A**holes… The requirements for the logo were paisley (yes, paisley) and not much else. There was preference for mention of his infamous “Eat It” quote. I like his style – similar to my own on Here for the Beer (my beer blog). So here goes:

Version 1:

And Version 2, after the owner of the blog said more 70’s than 50’s:

Version 3: Owner wanted to try blue and tan – why not… I threw in the 70s orange at no extra charge…

Version 4: A hybrid – not accurately the colors of the existing site, but I feel better colors overall and still blue

Version 5: cleaned up for web logo use without burst

Not a lot of blogging takes place on this site, Tim does most of his babbling elsewhere. In the future, the same goes for his tech talk – now at TenMinutesWithTim.com – appropriately named for the 10 minute sessions (sometimes rambling, sometimes genius) he likes to share with his coworkers… Of course for some of his other meanderings (non-tech related) he blogs about Vermont at InnBrattleboro, Beer at HerefortheBeer and social and viral marketing at BrandPandemic as well. So check out Tims blogs, there isn’t likely to be a whole lot added to this one, other than perhaps client news for Loose Leaf Design. Thanks for reading.

Too busy to blog?

Won’t deny it – we have just been too busy to blog here recently. From some great new web design work that we have been chaperoning to one of our most successful viral video launches yet (over 2MM views in 5 days!) we have been working non stop around here.

Of course, being an innkeeper has kept Tim pretty busy too! But not so busy that he hasn’t been able to travel the US for another amazing project that launches this summer…

Not to mention, his recent popularity in the innkeeping circuit! I believe he has almost a half dozen conference sessions lined up in the next few months.

But he’s not the only one on the treadmill around here (of course he IS the one who signs our paychecks, so he gets first billing).

Todd is busy with a massive database overhaul for a large Government agency. Paul is coding his fingers to the bone for some great new clients and of course Sarah is doing some non stop debugging…

So if you are looking for an energetic and talented group that can get your job done (at rates that keep us this busy) be sure to give us a shout!

It’s the typical tale of the shoemakers children going barefoot… We have been so busy with our newest projects, that we have neglected our own site for too long. So we are taking some time this week to get a new site launched for LooseLeafDesign – based upon the old sites look and feel, but modernized and more fun, we hope that you like the new look!

New Video Blog Launched

We have recently launched a new beer video blog at HereForTheBeer – Amy and I are big beer geeks and decided to share some of our experiences with others. It’s also a great way to showcase our video production work. We film, edit and publish all of the content on the site. We would be happy to do the same for you!
